Frequently Asked Questions
- When should I go to RMM?
RMM provides immediate, 24/7 care for all your medical needs, whether it’s an injury, sickness, or something less urgent. Call our Medical Hotline anytime at 212-249-3050
For tenants during the day it is just an elevator ride away!
- What if I’m traveling?
You can always contact us by phone, text, and FaceTime to receive medical care remotely.
- How do I make an appointment?
You don’t! Simply call us beforehand so we can give quick advice and prep for your arrival. Once you’re here, a doctor will see you immediately. You can also have your primary care provider accompany you to our facility.
- Is there anything not covered by my membership?
Procedures beyond the initial encounter—including diagnostic imaging, medications, supplies, and surgical procedures—are billed separately and submitted to insurance for out-of-network reimbursement on your behalf. NYC house calls also incur an additional fee. Any treatment provided by our network of non-staff specialists or care that takes place at another facility will be billed separately by those providers.
- How does RMM work with my primary care provider?
After you visit our clinic, we keep in touch with your physician and provide them with records from your visit. Your medical file will also appear online in your ReGen EMA patient portal account.
- How does RMM work with my insurance?
RMM is an out-of-network provider. We do not accept insurance and have opted out of Medicare , but we will file all paperwork on your behalf and submit for reimbursement.
- How do house calls work?
Our doctors provide an initial assessment over the phone to determine whether you’d be better off coming in. If not—or if you’d just prefer to be seen at home—we’ll send someone within 90 minutes.
- How do you choose participating doctors in your network?
We use a proprietary rating system that factors in things like clinical outcomes, peer reviews, patient satisfaction, reputation, experience, and education.
- Does RMM take 911 calls?
We CANNOT receive ambulances from 911 calls. If you need transport and it’s not life- threatening, we’ll provide a private ambulance at discount through one of our partners.
